“The collection is an amalgam of the historical (Zulu cultural adornments) and the contemporary (3D printing). My work highlights the fact that culture and its traditions are forever evolving, and will always adapt to the demands of the era in which it finds itself. Adapting and evolving does not necessarily equate to the loss of identities, because identity itself is not fixed, but constructed and linked to cultural adaptations.”
